Dr. Guy W. Gross
Dr. Guy W. Gross earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating with honors from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. Prior to that he earned his Bachelor of Science degree, graduating with honors from Kansas State University. Dr. Guy believes that lifelong learning is a must and has dedicated himself to continuing education through various active memberships. In fact, Dr. Guy dedicated himself to advanced training in areas such as cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, implantology, occlusion, and periodontics on top of the standard dental school curriculum by attending advanced courses while in dental school.
Dr. Guy also is an active member of the local chapter of AMBUCS, the American Business Club, which is dedicated to serving medically needy children through fundraising efforts. He became the President of AMBUCS in 2006 and was voted as the AMBUC of the year. Dr. Guy was the lead chairman for the Kansas Mission of Mercy and has won various awards for his outstanding efforts. KMOM involved more than $1 million dollars in free dental service for patients with no insurance or had fallen on difficult times back in Februrary of 2005. Other awards include UMKC’s Young Alumnus of the Year in 2006, and Crown Council’s Light of Excellence Award. Dr. Guy was also the proud recipient of Crown Council’s Young Dentist of the Year award!
Dr. Guy, Dr. Kate, and their team place the highest regard on the patient's well being during each procedure and follow up with the patient afterwards to ensure patient satisfaction.
Dr. Guy Gross and Dr. Kathryn Gross both enjoy dedicating their time to help others, and they have completed two mission trips. The first in 2001, served orphaned children in Barquisimeto, Venezuela over a 16 day span of time. The second trip took them to several, remote mountain villages in Guatemala, where they served the Mayan Indians, who walked several hours, down from the mountains, to receive their dental care.

Dr. Kathryn Gross
Dr. Kathryn Gross also received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UMKC School of Dentistry. She received additional, hands-on training in prosthodontic dentistry from experts in this specialty, while in dental school, and graduated with honors. She was the UMKC School of Dentistry president of the student branch of the American Dental Association and active in organized dentistry throughout her dental school career. Dr. Kate was a Jayhawk at the University of Kansas, and graduated with a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Human Biology before dental school. Currently, Dr Kate is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Kansas Dental Association and the Salina Dental Society. She is enjoying life in Salina, and is a volunteer and board member of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Salina, and a member of the local women's chapter of AMBUCS. Among her many interests, Dr. Kate greatly values the time she spends with her husband and her extended network of family in the Salina area. She is an avid enthusiast of the outdoors and enjoys biking, swimming, running, and walking her dog, Kamikaze (and her husband!). Dr. Kate's primary objective is making each patient's visit a comfortable and relaxing experience. She is also KMOM co-chair and along with Guy was awarded for her leadership in 2005.

Dr. Ken Guest
A native of Coffeyville, Kansas, Dr. Guest graduated from the University of Kansas in 1970 with a degree in Chemistry. He married Susan Leckband of Salina and served four years as a U.S. Naval officer. After service in the Navy, he attended the University of Missouri in Kansas City dental school, graduating in 1978.
In June 1978, Dr. Guest opened his dental practice in Salina. He and his partners, Dr. Kathryn Gross and Dr. Guy Gross and their present staff of thirteen provide restorative, preventive and cosmetic dental services and orthodontics to Salina and the surrounding area. Professional memberships include: American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Kansas Society of Orthodontics for General Practitioners (past president), Saline County Dental Association (past president), American Orthodontic Society, American Association of Functional Orthodontics, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Guest's community involvement includes the American Cancer Society, YWCA and YMCA, American Business Club (AMBUCS), American Red Cross, St. John's Lutheran Church (Council Member) and First Bank Kansas (Board Member).
In 1990, Dr. Guest was presented the United Way Hometown Hero award for his work with the YWCA and American Cancer Society Swim Marathon fund raiser. He is a charter member of the Crown Council, a nationwide group of leading dental offices. Their charitable project has raised over 17 million dollars for St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation and other charities including the local Ambucs club and Big Brothers/ Big Sisters. He is also a charter member and past president of the Kansas Society of Orthodontics for General Practitioners, an orthodontic study club, which brings renowned clinicians to Kansas for courses of instruction. He is a graduate of the PAC- Live Institute for Cosmetic and Esthetic Dentistry in San Francisco.
With over 27 years experience and almost 5,000 active patients, New Horizons Dental Care and staff are devoted to caring for their patients comfortably and efficiently using the latest techniques and materials. Dr. Allison Lesko
Dr. Allison Lesko and her husband Michael Lesko are relocating from Kansas City to Salina, so that she may join New Horizons Dental Care. Dr. Lesko earned her dental degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. During dental school she participated in the Advanced Studies in Oral Surgery Honors Program, which focuses on expanding knowledge of oral surgery procedures. She also served as President of Students Take Action, a community service group who organizes dental students serving the community in area free clinics, school screenings and fundraising activities which lead to her receiving the renowned American Association of Public Health Dentistry Award in 2007. Currently, she maintains membership with the Missouri Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. Prior to dental school, she graduated with honors from Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and participated as a coxswain on the KSRA Men’s Rowing Team.
Dr. Lesko completed her General Practice Residency program at Truman Medical Center – Lakewood’s Dental Clinic in June. This program has refined her skills as a dental clinician in the areas of surgery, restorative and prosthetics. She also has developed new skills in the areas of periodontal surgery, implant placement, and intravenous sedation.
Dr. Lesko and Michael have been married for two years. Michael is a software engineer employed by Cerner in Kansas City for the past three years. Both Dr. Lesko and her husband enjoy outdoor activities such as playing co-ed softball and cycling. They also enjoy watching movies and hosting game nights for their friends. They both are looking forward to becoming and active member of Salina’s community.
